Our registered categories are for the elderly, ladies over the age of 60 and gentlemen over the age of 65. We are also registered for the elderly physically disabled and the elderly mentally frail, including dementia. We are able to accept persons below the ages of 60 and 65 subject to approval from the Care Quality Commission;  however the person’s primary medical condition has to be dementia.

We accept residents who are suffering from chronic conditions such as; Parkinson’s, stroke, respiratory problems, arthritis and dementia. We also look after the fit/active, persons with walking frames, wheelchair, bed ridden, incontinent, long term catheterisation, partially sighted, blind and deaf.
Although not a nursing home, we can offer appropriate care with the support of the community nursing teams. Experienced staff are on duty 24 hours a day under the supervision of the home owners.

Every resident has the right to continue with their preferred religious faith. You are of course welcome to visit your own church whenever you wish. Alternatively ministers from every faith are welcome at the home to hold services and talk to residents. Currently the local vicar from St Peter's Church visits the home on a monthly basis to hold communion with residents.

Pets are welcome by prior arrangement; however their upkeep is the sole responsibility of the resident.

Park House is registered with the
Cinnamon Trust as a pet friendly home.
